“Lost” has been such a satisfying series to watch that I don’t care much how it ends. The (now iconic) moments they’ve had over the years have been great. I know a ton of people are watching, wanting to find out the secrets to mysteries, and I want to know too. But for the most part I’m enjoying the journey.
There may be spin-offs or other related mysteries about this island with a different cast, but for now, in this moment, in this story, I’m enjoying the moment before it’s gone.
With all of the major earthquakes happening this week I ran across this collection of Tsunami vids from YouTube. Amazing/scary stuff. I read a lot of news during the 2004 tragedy but I don’t remember seeing these before.
Anyone living on the western part of the U.S. (near the ocean or Yellowstone) should have three days of food and water stored up just in case!
http://nyti.ms/b7gQqG There’s just something about Meryl Streep that sets her in a category above her peers.
I think she hasn’t won an Academy Award in so long because she is so good she’s in her own category. And she’s never had a “comeback” role because she never left.
If I were in charge I’d give her a lifetime achievement award and bar her from being nominated. Then I’d have her hand out the award each year to the winner.

Things are always changing, and keeping up with consumers’ tastes is challenging, even for Disney. Mickey Mouse strikes me as a tired, dated icon and I’m intrigued with the rebranding and what they are going to come up with to compete in today’s marketplace.

Check out the graph from TechCrunch. Pretty impressive.
