Last night I went to a high school in Boulder to hear an expert speak on the unique emotional lives of the gifted. I’ve heard that this area has more PhD’s per capita than anywhere else in the country but what I didn’t know was that, according to the speaker, our area has more resources for equipping gifted children than anywhere else in the world. Last night the college faculty & staff and their families were invited to a celebration dinner at Casa Bonita, a large mexican restaurant near Denver. The inside of the restaurant is 52,000 square feet and is designed to look like a Mexican village at night. They can seat 1,100 people!
