"For us, 'comfort' doesn't mean what it used to...
Anne Jackson is a writer and blogger currently in India on a Compassion International blogging adventure. She and her husband have dramatically changed their lifestyle and are more “comfortable” than ever.
You Are Here (Catalyst West)
I loved the video that launched the start of Catalyst West this year - I watched it online and loved what they did. You can watch it here.
This random musical staged in a train station in Europe is a strong effort that succeeds quite nicely. Think of it as a flashmob with choreography. Two payoffs toward the end: (1) when the dancers all rush to the center of the group it creates quite an effect, and (2) when they part ways after the song it looks kinda cool and very train station-esque.

10 Great Moleskine Hacks
Do you use a Moleskine, or have you thought about picking one up? If so then be sure to read the 10 Great Moleskin Hacks by Dustin Wax. I love his idea about creating templates on your pages and creating a slot for a pen on the spine with duct tape. And this: I never would have thought to work back-to-front but I think the idea is brilliant.

Disney knows their stuff
There are many reasons Disney achieves excellence in what they do, and one of those reasons is RESEARCH. Spectrum of Online Friendship (Arauz)

Newspaper, Music, Television and Movie industries have faced widely-reported challenges in terms of advertising, technology, live-streaming and stolen content.
In the face of these challenges one option is to whine and complain (and watch your business die). The other: follow the lead of MLB Advanced Media CEO Bob Bowman, who has a team that offers technological solutions with a high-degree of...
Video of my photo shoot: this weekend I went out and shot a few pictures of the snow-covered mountains - I tried to approximate the locations of my autumn photo shoot and then put together this video.

short recording less than 7 or 8 seconds or...
To create a very short recording in Garageband 08 (less than the minimum required by the small purple triangle) simply turn on the cycle region button next to the player controls. It took me a long time online to find the answer to this question so I post it here in the hopes that Google will help someone find this post quicker than it took me to figure it out.
I think the fact that Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays is great - they are willing to stick to their core values even when those values fly in the face of conventional wisdom. That being said, I still thought this video was hilarious.
