The "Everyone" Myth
Our culture is notorious for the “everyone” myth, which is what I call the belief that once a trend passes 50% we assume that it applies to virtually everyone.
Myth: Almost all teens have mobile phones. Truth: 25% of teens don’t.
Myth: Almost all teens with phones text constantly. Truth: about half don’t text daily.
