cats, mice and Russia's Hermitage Museum
I’ve been to the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. It is stunning. The palace is part of the Russia Hermitage Museum, and displays incredible pieces of art. Apparently it also houses a lot of cats.
I don’t remember seeing cats when I was there but they are there. Lots of them.

I took a handful of college courses on the biology of the brain and I enjoy reading about new findings, including this article about how the teen brain develops.
In particular, it shows that girls and boys may be ready to handle more challenging material at different ages, and that schools may be missing an opportunity to take advantage of this reality.

Here’s an interesting study about how nonverbal behavior toward TV characters of difference races can affect viewer prejudice.
Interestingly, “Bones” was one of only two shows studied without that bias.
